Preventing accidents with the ABC

This idea started when our teacher told us about the contest. It seemed to us a good opportunity to prevent people from having accidents. We have made a kind of dictionary with some captions and easy pictures for children to understand our aim.

How we can get better?

We decided that we should know more about mobility issues, so we ran a very interesting survey in our neighbourhood. Then we organised a campaign which we shared through social networks like twitter and facebook. We had a nice time doing it!

LA BICICLETA EN EL IES PRADOLONGO (MADRID)

Our project aimed to promote use of the bicycle among students. We carried out a study of accessibility in our school IES Pradolongo, to be presented to the Madrid city council department of works.

Improving bike safety at our city and school

In this project, two students from the final year of secondary school studied the cycle paths in our city and developed a plan to improve them. Furthermore they researched how to increase bicycle use among our school students.

Bad habits among road users and neglected road signs were not hard to find for these spanish students, they just went to the streets of their town and documented the road safety issues.
