Our project targeted behaviour change in young pedestrians regarding the main factors which influence outcomes in road traffic accidents such as obstruction by electronic devices, visibility and crossing the street at risky points.

Our project aims the reconstruction of the main thoroughfare to provide better and easier traffic flow, and to improve visibility in bends and streets in order to ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians in traffic. We believe that the main thoroughfare would be improved with roundabouts and some changes in the road infrastructure itself as well as with new traffic signs.

We want to raise public awareness regarding road safety by proposing solutions which would help decrease traffic mortality rates 

We attend elective Civic education classes in our school. In mid-October 2019 we received an invitation to  take part in YIYI competition.

Altogether ten students decided to participate in this competition in order to create a safer and more tolerant environment in the vicinity of our school.

Drink Less Think more is the name of the project conducted by our school team with the aim to decrease the number of car accidents of young drivers by raising awareness about the problem of driving under the influence of alcohol.

We have decided to inform ourselves and our peers about the dangers we face when riding a motorcycle. Besides our peers, we wanted to tell other vehicles' drivers that motorcyclists are on the roads and the importance of following safety regulations and rules to make us all safe.

Encouraging young people to start using bikes on their way to school as well as raising awareness among young drivers about risk and responsible behaviours were two main reasons to start our project. During our campaign we have made two videos, designed some web posters and digital comics, designed a board game, identified critical bike lane points in the city, written a letter of protest to the city mayor, invited a local Car Club to present simulators to our students, organized a Cycling Day and started a Facebook community to spread the message about our project.

Our main objective was to increase road safety through an awareness-raising campaign and to propose a new bike track to the City Council

It is noticed that traffic safety factors at crossroads of Ivana Česmički, Pavelinska and Ivanjska Street in Koprivnica 

The project was about problems in traffic infrastructure related to cyclists.

We have the aim of raising awareness of students and the community about the importance of personal behaviour in traffic. The project includes an online course, a competition for students, disseminating information and building a strong community.

The students at Čakovec primary school in Croatia have truly made road safety a part of their school culture. About 300 students from all different classes have directly participated in over 500 hours of road safety activities during the past year!

Making lasting changes in road safety will mean bringing road safety culture into our everyday life and integrating it with children's education. This was the aim of the students and teachers at Horvati Primary School.

For these croatian pupils, raising awareness of road safety among class mates is good but spreading the message outside the school is even better.
