Take Care! A single second can take you your life! The use of cell phones on the road is dangerous and people use them. This project focuses on this problems and we created an APP – STOP, to limit the use of these devices by road users.

We, 11th graders at Montessori school in Medellín, developed a project established by challenge based learning, aiming at parents, students and school staff with the objective of raising awareness on three risk behaviors: the use of cell phone while driving, the excess of speed around and in the school and the misuse of seatbelt.

To promote a sustainable tourism, we created the App “TuristAndo” for people who are interested in using bikes and making routes in a sustainable way. Our App is free and easy to use and provides diverse information to users. Therefore, it encourages the use of bicycles, reduces the environmental footprint, improves the quality of life, health and welfare of residents and tourists who choose the bicycle as a means of mobility in the city of Bogota.

One of the problems that most affects society today road safety. Road actors don’t comply with the rules stipulated and in just a moment, by committing any infraction they can be exposed and expose others to a great tragedy.

At IE El Playón, we execute an educational strategy on mobility, based on play,  with clear, concrete and achievable objectives. For this, we carry out campaigns and recreational activities in both English and Spanish with the slogan CEDA EL PASO - GIVE THE WAY in order to persuade the educational community that it is possible to reduce the traffic risk and accident rates inside and outside the school.

Would you like to have a cost-effective, eco-friendly way of transportation that also helps you with your health?  Guess what! The best option is the bicycle. Now consider this: When you are on the road, you want to feel safe and get to your destination on time. However, there are some problems that we have to face when we are on the road. Our App, Instapik aims to promote cyclists road safety

We, the 11th graders at Montessori school in Medellín suggested a project established by challenge based learning. The main goal of this project is to improve air quality and to reduce issues regarding car flow in our district through carpooling.

SEMOC One, two, three, mobility without stress! This is what is promoted in the booklet (educational guide) that we have created thanks to our experiences after 4 years of work, to provide global strategies to the almost 180 public and private schools in Bucaramanga.

Our campaign is focused on promoting sustainable mobility for students and teachers in our school. 2 years ago, when we participated for the first time in this challenge, we identified the main issues and problems of mobility in our city in the future. Our focus is to promote the use of bicycle in our school community, as a more effective transport, not only for its positive impact on the environment but also because our school is located in a not very accessible road. The campaign this year has get more supporters given the rising levels of pollution in our city.

We have developed a mobile application to inform and raise awareness about traffic regulations and responsible behavior on the roads. This way, our intention is to help reducing the high rate of accidents that currently occurs in the highway Medellin-Bogotá, near to our school.

In spanish there are two terms Manejar and Conducir. This is a project that shows young people the difference between these two terms, and how they impact the mortality rate in Cali, Colombia.

Answering to the initiative of Renault “YOUR Ideas, YOUR Initiatives, we have been working on solving mobility situation at our School. This is our third year participating in this contest, which allows us to present better and extended initiatives.

We, Colegio Montessori seniors, created a variety of activities taking into account the students’ ages. These activities were adapted in order to raise awareness about road behaviors. The whole school community was included.

Many people and many cars have made Bogota a chaotic and polluted city. Most working families live in the south of the city and traffic affects the quality of family time. We believe it is necessary to generate clean solutions that improve mobility.

Colegio Santa Ana de Bucaramanga Colombia, for more than three years, has focused on providing a quality education in a comprehensive way to train children and young people to serve society by being responsible citizens.

Our initiative, “From 4 to 2”, looks forward to promoting the use of sustainable mobility in our community, especially the use of the bicycle as an efficient and viable mean of transportation.

In this version of Your Ideas Your Initiatives 2018, our school, Instituto Caldas, continues strengthening the institutional mobility program. SemoC is a group of 17 students who develop strategies oriented by the teacher in a research context.

This project is about how the girls at our school became aware of the mobility problems this institution faced, how they created projects to solve the problems and how they made other students aware of the road safety rules.

We created a traffic park in order to develop pedagogical strategies for promoting safe mobility that will help children at the Cañaverales International School, as well as the children from the other schools in Yumbo.

We designed a wrist bracelet for use in landslide zones to locate survivors.
